Agogo Presbyterian College of Education Launches Home Coming and Fundraising

The Agogo Presbyterian College of Education in the Asante Akyem North of the Asante Region has launched its homecoming celebration and fundraising at the Osu Eben-Ezer Presbyterian Church Hall in Accra.

The Home Coming celebration slated for 1st December 2022 at the College premises at Agogo will coincide with the Founders’ Day Public Lecture of the College.

The Principal of the College, Rev Dr. Mrs. Grace Sintim Adasi expressed her appreciation to the Old Girls Association of the College for their support.

She also commended the students for upholding moral values which have helped them to come this far.

Rev. Dr. Mrs. Adasi said the college was committed and prepared to offer credible academic training, research, and good moral upbringing to students to enable them to grow up as responsible adults.

She encouraged the staff of the college to pursue their Ph.D. programmes in order to help use the knowledge and skills gained to better the institution.

The Agogo Presbyterian Women’s College of Education was founded in 1931 by the Basel Mission to train Ghanaian women teachers for the then Girls’ Middle School.
